Measuring for an Inside Mount

Measure the width & height in 3 places from inside the opening. When ordering, enter the smallest width and height on the order form.

 Measuring for a typical outside mount installation

You can make the shade wider or narrower too. Use your own best judgment based on your particular situation.

Measure the width in 3 places from inside the opening. Enter the largest width on the order form.

If you have a sill, measure from the top of sill to the outside edge of the top trim in 3 places. Enter the largest height and width on the order form.

If you DO NOT have a sill, measure from the edge of the bottom trim to the outside edge of the top trim in 3 places. Enter the largest height and width on the order form. 

Measuring for your curtain

Measure the height of the wall if you want a floor-to-ceiling window treatement. Subtract 5-10 cm from the actual height to give space for the curtain rod or rail

For proper fullness, order curtain pair widths that are approximately one and a half times to double the width of the window area you would like to cover.
